Amongst our many achievements, Intertech is particularly proud to be a part of the evolution of the transport system in Dubai. Under Dubai Municipality, the first traffic management control room (TMC) was built in 2005. We were selected amongst the competition to supply, install and commission the display video walls for the TMC located in Dubai Municipality headquarters. Not long after, Road and Transport Authority (RTA) was established towards the end of 2005.
For us, that was a long successful journey with RTA that has lasted for the past 16 years. Several control rooms related to various transport projects in Dubai were awarded to us within the years.
Our most recent success story with RTA was the new Intelligent Traffic Systems centre (ITS), inaugurated in November 2020. From a technical standpoint, that was a challenging project due to the large number of high-resolution streams that needed to be displayed simultaneously. We met our client’s requirements, and the ITS project was successfully operational to their satisfaction.
Our success with RTA resulted in the supply of numerous video wall projects over the years. However, our real success came from matching the tough standards of RTA’s service and support, for which Intertech was recognised and awarded a certificate for outstanding performance.
