In 2001, Dubai Police was in the design phase of their new headquarters. Backed by Barco’s and Evans’s expertise, we proposed to Dubai Police to get involved in the upcoming state-of-the-art control room design phase. This required getting approval from the project consultant for the scope of work and control room design, which we successfully obtained.
We enthusiastically took this challenge as a major milestone for our young company. Between 2001 and 2004, we went through an intensively detailed design plan providing all the technical drawings, 3D renders, and walkthrough videos to meet all the client’s needs.
In 2005, Intertech was awarded a contract to supply, install and commission an exceptionally large video wall for that control room. One year later, the commander of Dubai Police inaugurated the new control room resembling our design plan. This control room to date still carries the same design. Almost a decade later, we were awarded a contract to upgrade the video wall display system.
The true success of this story was that we were able to earn the client’s trust at an early stage. To this day, our solution is still perfectly operational with Dubai Police’s satisfaction. As a result of this successful project, Dubai Police has been a loyal customer of Intertech Vision for more than 15 years.
In addition, we were awarded a Dubai Police Certification for our dedicated and successful participation in and implementation of this project.
